- A high school diploma is required.
- Two to four years of quality assurance technical experience in a manufacturing-based industry.

- Perform color matching, formula adjustment, and quality control during manufacturing.
- Understand and work toward tolerances and standards defined by technical specifications for thermoplastic materials.
- Compare batches against submitted standards and specifications.
- Test and adjust formulas and compounds to ensure they meet quality control standards, including color, appearance, flow rates, Particle Size Analysis, Melt Index, Moisture Analysis, Bulk Density, and Hardness.
- Instruct production personnel to adjust machinery parameters when necessary.
- Promptly address non-conforming materials on hand to reduce recurrence.
- College education is an asset.
