Requirements
  • At least 8 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree, at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree such as a Master's, MBA, JD, or MD, or 2 years of work experience with a PhD.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying artificial intelligence or machine-learning solutions in a business context.
  • Experience owning artificial-intelligence or data-science use cases from identification through live production.
  • Experience with machine-learning models, including model development, evaluation, deployment, and performance monitoring.
  • Experience managing external vendors and specialist technical teams to deliver defined outcomes.
  • Experience designing or leading change strategies involving training, stakeholder engagement, leadership enablement, adoption tracking, and behavior reinforcement.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
  • Hands-on working experience with a selection of Claude Code, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Figma Make, CloudFlare, Databricks, cloud databases, Python, and SQL.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and size artificial-intelligence opportunities across Visa Europe clusters and functions through business engagement, value-pool mapping, and stakeholder workshops.
  • Build business cases and secure funding and sponsor approval through the appropriate governance route.
  • Connect artificial-intelligence opportunities to Visa Europe's strategic objectives.
  • Own artificial-intelligence use-case delivery end to end, from requirements through production deployment.
  • Lead build-versus-buy assessments by evaluating technical feasibility, vendor capability, total cost of ownership, and time to value, then manage the selected delivery path to completion.
  • Work with data scientists and machine-learning engineers, managing them to defined milestones and value targets.
  • Monitor deployed solutions and manage model performance, iteration, and stakeholder reporting.
  • Develop and lead change strategies for artificial-intelligence use cases and communicate their impact to frontline teams and senior leadership.
  • Partner with leadership to reinforce the transformation message through Visa Europe forums.
  • Help managers embed artificial-intelligence adoption into team routines, project reviews, onboarding, coaching, and performance discussions.
  • Own adoption strategies for artificial-intelligence solutions using champion networks, office hours, nudges, peer coaching, demonstrations, and recognition.
  • Establish feedback loops to identify adoption barriers, usability issues, and opportunities to refine solutions and enablement materials.
  • Contribute to and help scale the artificial-intelligence Champions network by sharing tools, agents, and learnings across business clusters.
  • Measure and communicate value delivered through usage, proficiency, productivity, quality, and business impact.
  • Build governance routines to review adoption progress, remove friction, and adjust rollout plans based on data and feedback.
  • Create executive-ready dashboards and recommendations showing progress against delivery, adoption, and business-impact goals.
  • Stay current on emerging artificial-intelligence capabilities and identify new use cases relevant to strategic priorities.
  • Evolve the change-management approach as capabilities, workflows, and roles mature.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least 9 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree, at least 7 years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree, or at least 3 years of experience with a PhD.
  • At least 8 years in product or project management, artificial-intelligence delivery, or a data-science role.
  • A proven track record of owning artificial-intelligence or data-science use cases from identification through live production.
  • Experience with machine-learning model development, evaluation, deployment, and performance monitoring.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with C-suite sponsors and cross-functional business teams.
  • Experience managing external vendors and specialist technical teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including opportunity sizing, value quantification, and presentation to senior leadership.
  • Experience in financial services, payments, or a regulated-industry environment.
  • A consulting background with a strong delivery track record in a strategy firm or Big Four firm.
  • Experience building or deploying large-language-model solutions, artificial-intelligence agents, or agentic workflows.
  • Familiarity with MLOps practices including model versioning, monitoring, and retraining.
  • Experience working in fast-moving environments.
  • Exposure to enterprise artificial-intelligence platform evaluation and procurement.
  • Experience working across multidisciplinary business, technology, and data teams.
  • A proven track record leading large-scale transformation programs across complex, global, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong understanding of role evolution, capability building, and performance management as they relate to artificial-intelligence adoption.
  • Hands-on working experience with Claude Code, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Figma Make, CloudFlare, Databricks, cloud databases, Python, and SQL.
