  • At least 10 years of employer-side immigration experience across H-1B, L-1, PERM, E-1/E-2, and related categories is required.
  • Experience owning enterprise client relationships end to end, rather than only individual matters, is required.
  • A track record managing or developing legal teams, with clear accountability for team outcomes, is required.
  • Comfort with public visibility, including thought leadership, social presence, and client events, is required.
  • A professional network in human resources, legal, or People Operations circles is required.
  • The candidate must have the ambition to build and run a practice, not just staff one.
  • Attorneys are expected to meet aggressive service-level agreements, rigorous legal quality standards, and proactive client communication standards.
  • The role requires using an AI-powered platform with automated workflows, smart draft review, and a unified case-context hub.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and own the corporate immigration practice for a roster of employer clients, covering H-1B, L-1, PERM, E-1/E-2, and the broader employer-immigration spectrum, with accountability for growth, quality, and profitability.
  • Own enterprise client relationships and large-scale program management for the practice.
  • Drive business development and marketing by growing existing accounts and bringing in new clients through a personal network and the firm's business-development engine.
  • Build and lead a team by hiring, developing, and holding attorneys to the firm's standards across consultations and case production.
  • Own pod profitability directly, with compensation tied to the health of the practice.
  • Handle strategy, legal drafting, and client work while administrative activities such as intake, document collection, status tracking, and client updates run through the firm's platform.
  • Work under a flat-fee model without timekeeping or billable-hour targets.
  • Practice remotely as part of the firm's remote legal team.
  • Own a book of business, a team, and a meaningful part of the firm's growth.
