World Market coming soon to Jordan Landing. This will be the fourth store in the Beehive State, and the second in Salt Lake County. World Market will be inhabiting the former site of OfficeMax, next to Zurcher's, according to Jordan Landing's map. "Founded in 1958 as a small import business on San Francisco's famed Fisherman's Wharf, World Market has grown into an exciting, thriving, one-of-a-kind nationwide retail brand," the brand describes itself. World Market is known for its wide selection of furniture, imported food and snacks, home decor, and so much more. You can find everything from olive oil straight from Italy to a charming wedding gift. While an official opening date has yet to be released, the store is labeled "coming soon" on the property's website. ABC4.com has reached out to Jordan Landing for more information.
World Market moves to new location across Gresham Station. Published 12:21 pm Friday, July 24, 2026 World Market has opened in its new location at Gresham Station Shopping Center. (Christopher Keizur/The Outlook) A popular retail store featuring an eclectic array of imported housewares, furniture, décor, and specialty foods has officially made its move. World Market shifted across Gresham Station Shopping Center - the store used to be at 989 NW 12th Street and is now at 1090 Norman Avenue. That moves the business to the other end of the popular outdoor shopping center. The location is more prominent, and places World Market next to Best Buy, one of the central entries, and the new East County Library. The new location had a grand opening Friday, July 24, after being temporarily closed for several weeks during the move. The Gresham location is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Friday; 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. World Market (née Cost Plus World Market) was founded in 1958 as a small import business on San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf. Since it has grown into a nationwide retail brand with more than 240 stores across the country - there are six in Oregon.

World Market to open new Annapolis store at Annapolis Plaza. World Market will open its newest Maryland store at Annapolis Plaza on Friday, June 26, bringing its mix of globally inspired furniture, home décor, gifts, gourmet foods, and international products to Jennifer Road.
