Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineers, ensuring they deliver their best work
  • Represent and lead the team in cross-functional discussions and remove obstacles to productivity
  • Hire, coach, and retain high-performing talent
  • Drive automation efforts to reduce manual intervention, improve system reliability, and enhance operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols and industry standards
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams for continuous improvement of the SRE team
  • Advocate for cost-efficiency methodologies while maintaining system performance
  • Conduct periodic reviews of the system performance and Red flag application breaches for adherence to SLOs to devise deployment strategies
  • Ensure the availability, security and scalability of systems through proactive monitoring and incident management
  • Oversee incident response processes, root cause analysis and post-mortem reviews to bring visibility to Druva's cloud availability and performance
  • Work with engineering teams for effective deployment of SaaS services to prod
  • Conduct cross functional meetings with RHD owners to apprise the of deployment quality
  • Ensure reservation posture adherence
  • Report COGS anomalies via automated detection tools and in-house alerts
  • Conduct thorough analysis of Unit costs and report anomalies and customer behavior trends aligning with Cost anomalies
  • Conduct periodic schedule of validations for ensuring adherence to compliance
  • Collaborate with security teams to devise quarterly execution strategies for delivering security roadmap goals
  • Respond to critical security alerts
