Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administrative oversight of accommodated testing operations across multiple locations to ensure exams are delivered in compliance with academic, departmental, and ADS policies.
  • Exercise independent judgment in monitoring testing activity and addressing non-routine operational challenges that arise during exam administration.
  • Interpret and apply testing, accommodation, and academic integrity policies to resolve complex or sensitive situations involving students, faculty, and test proctor staff.
  • Serve as the primary operational point of decision-making during testing hours, acting with delegated authority from the Accommodated Testing Supervisor when immediate action is required.
  • Ensure exam security, accommodation integrity, and procedural compliance are maintained across all testing environments.
  • Establish, implement, and consistently apply departmental test proctoring procedures and standards.
  • Oversee the documentation, review, and management of testing incident reports related to academic integrity or student conduct concerns.
  • Prepare and provide official documentation to faculty members, academic departments, and the Office of Student Conduct, as appropriate.
  • Serve as a departmental representative and witness in Office of Student Conduct proceedings when requested.
  • Identify operational risks or trends related to testing practices and communicate recommendations to the Accommodated Testing Supervisor.
  • Provide functional oversight and direction to hourly test proctor staff to ensure consistent and accurate implementation of accommodations and testing procedures.
  • Evaluate staffing needs in real time and make independent determinations to address coverage gaps or operational disruptions.
  • Collaborate with the Accommodated Testing Supervisor to design, implement, and deliver training for test proctors and testing staff.
  • Ensure test proctors possess the appropriate training, tools, and resources necessary to perform their roles effectively.
  • Oversee and manage high-volume communications related to testing reservations, procedures, and policies, exercising discretion and judgment to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Apply de-escalation strategies when addressing concerns or conflicts involving students, faculty, or other stakeholders.
  • Communicate and enforce departmental policies related to exam scheduling, submission requirements, and cancellation deadlines.
  • Maintain administrative oversight of the exam reservation database, including data review, exports, and quality checks.
  • Monitor and forecast testing supply and operational needs across locations.
  • Communicate resource requirements and operational recommendations to the Supervisor of Accommodated Testing.
  • Support continuous improvement of testing operations through process evaluation and refinement.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned in support of ADS operations and institutional priorities.
