Requirements
  • A minimum of ten years provider contracting experience required including all forms especially value based agreements.
  • Knowledge of CMS value based contracting methodologies and adoption.
  • Strong communication skills including the use of PowerPoint and being comfortable presenting internally and externally to leadership.
  • Analytical experience with claims data and cost and quality performance analytics preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with HEDIS measures.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or professional equivalent experience. Master’s Degree preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Managing the portfolio of value based agreements in the mountain and Arizona markets.
  • Understanding the overall provider strategy in the market while collaborating with the executive directors in meeting network market performance objectives through value based relationships with providers.
  • Developing a strong rapport with the Chief Medicare Officer and supporting the market Medicare Advantage Strategy and annual bid process.
  • Working closely with the Engagement Management resources responsible for optimizing performance of VBC agreements to ensure that the contract is aligned with company objectives, provider capabilities and how to optimize provider performance.
