Requirements
  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant healthcare field (Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Clinical Nurse Specialist) and required state licensure/board certification as applicable by Missouri and Kansas; hold and maintain national certification and licensure as required by State Boards and Saint Luke’s Health System; 1 year of Advanced Practice Provider experience; prescriptive authority in accordance with state and federal laws; ability to obtain and document problem-focused or comprehensive histories; ability to establish patient relationships with empathy and collaboration; ability to perform accurate physical examinations; up-to-date clinical knowledge; willingness to seek opportunities for knowledge advancement; flexibility with scheduled rotations/locations to meet patient needs.
Responsibilities
  • Completion of admissions, consultations, subsequent day visits and discharges in the inpatient setting.
  • Independent practice in the outpatient clinic and/or inpatient setting and collaborating with physician(s) as appropriate.
  • Ordering and management of appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies.
