Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
  • Five years of applicable experience is required.
  • A valid driving license and a driving record that aligns with safety standards are required.
  • Possess three of four CFESA certifications: electrical, gas, refrigeration, and steam.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and soft skills.
  • Safe driving record.
  • Ability to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to perform repeated bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing up and down ladders.
  • Ability to work in environments involving electrical, steam, and high-heat units with required safety equipment.
  • Ability to work in high- and low-temperature environments.
Responsibilities
  • Provide service and repair for commercial cooking equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair gas, electric, water, refrigeration, and steam-powered commercial kitchen and heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning equipment.
  • Use a tablet to document tasks, including parts orders, work orders, and timesheets, in a timely manner.
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding required repairs and repair status.
  • Use proper hand tools and power tools for repairs.
  • Monitor truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked on the vehicle.
  • Maintain the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms according to company standards and procedures.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays.
  • Obtain correct part numbers through the branch parts representative.
  • Collect payment on cash-on-delivery jobs.
  • Contribute to branch targets for response time and first-time-fix rates.
  • Participate in available training to increase skills and knowledge.
  • Lead, mentor, and train other team members.
  • Perform other duties as required.
