- A diploma in medical imaging technology or an equivalent qualification.
- Membership in the professional order of medical technologists of Quebec.
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, including radiology, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and ultrasound.
- Rigor, autonomy, and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and listening skills for patient care.
- Compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
- Perform medical imaging examinations, including radiology, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging, and computed tomography, in accordance with protocols and medical indications.
- Prepare and position patients and use imaging equipment appropriately.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of obtained images while complying with safety standards.
- Manage and maintain imaging equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret examination results.
- Protect the confidentiality and security of patients' medical data.
- Participate in continuing education to stay current with technological and medical developments.
- Previous experience in a medical environment is an asset.
