Requirements
  • Proven success leading diverse teams through multiple Change Management and Business Transformation initiatives, preferably in a rapidly-growing SaaS-based organization
  • Prior technology / SaaS industry background and topline (sales, revenue) exposure are a key requirement
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce or Accounting. MBA or a financial designation is an asset
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in Finance/Accounting teams
  • A growth mindset, a builder's mentality, and a proven track record for execution
  • Proven success leading diverse teams through multiple Change Management initiatives
  • Advanced understanding of different financial and management reporting principles and frameworks, and deep knowledge of financial accounting practices pertaining to data flows for FP&A system outputs
  • Ability to thrive and navigate effectively through change and ambiguity in a fast-moving, complex business environment
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, with extensive experience working with PivotTables and Power BI
  • Highly outcome-focused, with the proven ability to work with challenging deadlines and deliver on commitments
  • Experience turning large quantities of data into actionable business insights
  • Savvy with technology and use intelligent tools to analyze financial and operational information
  • Comfortable working with strategy formulation, negotiations, and decision support
  • Understands data models, productivity tools, and business intelligence solutions
  • Take the lead on business analysis; whether it be optimizing current data models and tools or being able to recommend and implement new ones
Responsibilities
  • Partner with Director, FP&A in establishing, executing, and managing the short-term and long-term Objective and Key Results (OKRs) of FP&A team
  • Establish and manage development plans for direct reports to establish clear expectations, including a follow-up cadence for team to understand performance against these expectations
  • Own the output from deliveries produced in team (including guiding the team on requirements, reviewing their work, and following-up with Business Partner to ensure successful delivery)
  • Directly manages the engagement, culture, and development of direct reports. Able to hire and manage manager-level talent and ensure they own regular cadence of workflows in their role
  • Manage and support full budget cycle process for all costs with coordination with FP&A Director (Senior Care and Acute & Payer)
  • Actively manage the cost analysis to provide support and insights to the business for all budget owners
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial forecast models to support various financial planning initiatives, including but not limited to monthly forecast, annual budget, and long-term strategy planning, for assigned functions
  • Conduct actual vs. forecast / budget financial variance analysis on monthly basis with meaningful insights to management to support decision making, help understand financial implications to rolling forecast, and enable business partners to manage to their respective budgets
  • Partner with shared service teams to perform numerical analysis, process analysis, or create new tools to help business partners drive strategic decision making. This will include but is not limited to:
  • Business casing to help effectively compare and decide on the correct initiatives
  • Collaborate with business to improve operation efficiency and to identify cost saving opportunities
  • Ability to distill new requirements for analytical tools requested by the business. Can translate between senior business leaders and manager / analyst level to ensure new work can be defined, designed, tested, and signed off for full implementation
  • Assist with FP&A system rollout through data sourcing, exploration, cleanup, manipulation, design, and testing
  • Naturally connects and builds strong relationships with others, demonstrating strong emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively
  • An ability to inspire trust and followership in others through compelling influence, powerful charisma, passion in his/her beliefs, and active drive

  • Responsible for monthly and quarterly board and management deck preparation
