Stipend Position

We are looking for teachers and faculty who would like to be part of the Yearbook Club. This stipend is for the 2025/2026 year. This stipend is open to Upper School staff.

Requirements:

• Meet weekly with students for the creation of an Eighth Grade Yearbook
• Assemble a yearbook team through application process and seek input on student applicants from the Principal and Head of Upper School
• Facilitators will determine with students the production timeline and deadlines
• Club members will create a theme for the 2024/2025 yearbook
  
• Club members will create and edit design content template pages with photos, fonts, quotations, headlines and color schemes
  
• Determine significant events and stories of the year to highlight in each section (graduation photos will not be included because the production will take place prior to graduation)
• Facilitators will select a vendor and template for the yearbook, facilitators get school photos on a CD from LifeTouch to be used in the yearbook prior to the submission
• Facilitators meet with the leadership team to review content
• Facilitators submit the yearbook for print and distribute to students with a goal of distribution before departure from LFDCS (if not – students will pick up at the Upper School, 400 Haverhill Street).
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Plan and organize regular club meetings
• Meet necessary deadlines for creating and ordering of yearbooks, based on a comprehensive plan and timeline
• Encourage teamwork and effective communication among team members
• Oversee the collection and organization of content, including photos, articles, and other relevant materials
• Maintain open and clear communication channels with both club members and any external parties (including administration and other staff members)

Stipend Amount: $2,500.00

Start date: May 5, 2025
End Date: June 9, 2025, paid upon completion
