Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all project activities within the project team, management, and the client.
  • Develop and implement workforce development strategies aligned with CalWORKs goals, labor market trends, and institutional priorities.
  • Lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of employment and career pathway programs for CalWORKs participants.
  • Establish measurable objectives and performance indicators related to employment, retention, and participant success.
  • Monitor program effectiveness and recommend improvements based on data analysis and participant outcomes.
  • Lead or participate in weekly status updates and monthly status reports with clients and the project team.
  • Provide coaching, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Manage and track the project budget and invoicing.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with the client.
  • Identify employment opportunities, internships, work experience placements, apprenticeships, and job-shadowing opportunities for CalWORKs participants.
  • Collaborate with regional workforce partners to align training programs with industry needs and workforce demands.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, county, and CalWORKs regulations, policies, and procedures.
