Compensation Overview

Ability to accurately transcribe audios in Canadian French language in accordance with the project’s set guidelines. 

Available approximately 20-30 hours per week 

Stable internet connection 

Strong attention to detail 

Ability to review examples and apply rules to data 

Familiarity with spelling conventions in French language 

Native/bilingual/near-native knowledge of Canadian French language 

Comfortable/familiar with accented varieties of French spoken in Canada is a plus 

Good reading comprehension skills in English 

Prior experience with transcription beneficial but not compulsory 

Successful completion of our qualification process: 

Assess the accuracy of your spelling: You will need to pass the French language certification quiz with a score of at least 85%. You have 2 attempts to pass the Quiz. 

Typing Speed Assessment: You will need to complete a typing speed assessment and complete a survey with your results. We are looking for transcribers with a typing speed of approximately 40 words per minute or higher with 85% accuracy.
