About Parameta Solutions:
Parameta Solutions is the Data & Analytics division of TP ICAP Group. The business provides clients with unbiased OTC content and proprietary data, in-depth insights across price discovery, risk management, benchmark and indices, and pre and post-trade analytics. Its post-trade solutions offering helps market participants control their counterparty and regulatory risks through a growing range of tools that manage balance-sheet exposure, as well as compression and optimisation services. The Data & Analytics division includes the following brands: Tullett Prebon Information, PVM Data Services, ICAP Information and Burton-Taylor Consulting.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join the senior leadership team at Parameta Solutions. In this pivotal role, you will support the CEO in the daily management of the division, assist in managing and guiding the team by setting clear objectives and driving accountability, and play a crucial role in executing the company’s strategic vision. You will ensure clear documentation of team responsibilities, ownership of targets, and the establishment of measurable goals. Role Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Support the CEO in the day-to-day management of Parameta Solutions, ensuring seamless operational execution and alignment with strategic goals.
Collaborate with the CEO to manage and guide the team, setting clear objectives, driving accountability, and fostering a culture of high performance.
Oversee the Data Ops, IP Protection, HR and Legal functions, ensuring comprehensive documentation of team responsibilities and ownership of targets.
Strategic Execution:
Drive the implementation of strategic initiatives, ensuring all projects are aligned with the overall business objectives.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment and effective communication of strategic goals and objectives.
Monitor and report on the progress of strategic initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Team Leadership:
Lead and develop the management team, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Support staff development through training and mentorship, ensuring the team possesses the necessary skills and knowledge to achieve their goals.
Proactively manage the organisational culture, encouraging behaviours that promote respect, compliance with policy, and alignment with company values.
Performance Management:
Review and analyse management information (MI) to identify trends, breaches, and areas for improvement.
Implement actions to enhance performance, address gaps, and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.
Ensure regular performance reviews and feedback sessions to maintain high levels of motivation and morale.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Represent Parameta Solutions in various committees and forums, contributing to the company’s reputation and strategic interests.
Identify and develop strategic alliances and partnerships to support business growth and expansion.
Experience / Competences:
Essential
Extensive experience in senior operational leadership roles either within the financial services or market data industry.
People management experience required, ideally at functional head level.
Proven track record in managing and developing high-performing teams.
Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities, with a history of successfully driving business growth.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability, with a commitment to promoting a positive organisational culture.
