Gvisor Software Engineer

• Support new models of GPU/TPUs in gVisor, and building integration/regression tests for existing models.
• Expand gVisor's save/restore functionality to enable faster pod startup, especially for inference workloads.
• Extend support for AI agent workloads.
• Build out a GKE multi-tenancy platform, using gVisor for runtime isolation.
• Secure Google's fleet against CPU vulnerabilities.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
  
• 2 years of experience with developing infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
• Experience in one or more of the following programming languages: C, C++, Python, Go.
• Experience working with hardware accelerators (e.g., GPU, TPU, DSP).

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
  
• Experience developing accessible technologies.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
