  • Candidates must have at least 1 year of acute care Registered Nurse experience.
  • Candidates must hold a New York Registered Nurse license and registration.
  • Candidates must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications.
  • Candidates must be graduates of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Candidates must be able to handle information with strict confidentiality.
  • Candidates must demonstrate excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to provide rapid assessment and treatment of patients’ ailments as ordered.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate a patient-focused team in providing direct and collaborative health care in a variety of clinical settings designed to promote and restore optimal health across the life span.
  • Utilize all components of the nursing process in providing care that reflects an understanding of individual cultural and religious diversities and needs, and recognition of patient rights.
  • Utilize knowledge and expertise in case management to provide comprehensive, coordinated, seamless care to individuals and aggregate groups.
  • Coordinate, integrate, and facilitate the patient/provider relationship.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of previous Critical Care or Emergency Department Registered Nurse experience is strongly preferred.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is strongly preferred.
  • Passion for Emergency Nursing.
