Requirements
  • 7+ years minimum of job related corporate tax experience in either a multinational corporate tax department or public accounting firm required
  • Advanced knowledge of ASC 740 as it relates to multinational corporations
  • General knowledge of U.S. international tax law
  • Strong tax technical accounting and writing skills
  • CPA or JD Required
  • Masters in Tax, or LLM a plus
  • 5+ years minimum of job related Big Four experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite of products, Netsuite, tax research software
Responsibilities
  • Manage and review the domestic components of the U.S. Federal consolidated corporation income tax return
  • Manage the preparation of the quarterly and annual tax provision for DigitalOcean, including uncertain tax positions
  • Be able to research and analyze the impact of new legislative developments, and prepare technical memoranda as required
  • Review domestic tax analyses, including Section 174 and R&D, and other federal and state income tax analyses
  • Assist in managing global income tax controversy including U.S. federal and state income tax audits
  • Assist in managing relationships with third party tax service providers
  • Assist in updating income tax policy and procedures
  • Other tasks as necessary
