About the role:
DUAL North America, Inc. is seeking an Intern to join the team. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Insurance Summer Intern in the Chicago office.

Essential Functions:
Process submissions by providing account triage for Underwriters.
Gather and compile information required to quote and/or bind an account.
Generate, edit and send out a variety of correspondence on behalf of the Underwriters such as declination letters, quote follow ups and subjectivity reminders.
Demonstrates basic understanding of technical underwriting principles and risk underwriting characteristics.
Learn market dynamics, competitive landscape and product differences.
Provide customer service and underwriting support to help achieve new and renewal premium goals.
Other related clerical and administrative duties as assigned.
Job Requirements (education, experience, skills):
Currently enrollment in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program, or a recent college graduate.
Majoring in risk management, business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Basic understanding of insurance principles is a plus.

Mumbai, 30th April 2025: Howden is pleased to announce the appointment of Mandira Gupta as the Managing Director & Head of M&A, IMEA.
The firm's expansion into this area of business will be led by director Stuart Lowe, who joined the insurer from Howden this month.
Recently, Howden launched the Howden Auto Tracker, a new automated follow-form facility that aligns tracker capacity with algorithmic capacity, providing brokers with streamlined access to both from a unified data source.
Today, Howden announces it has agreed terms to acquire Chartered Financial Solutions Limited (CFS), a large financial advisory firm established in 2005 and based in Ranelagh, Dublin. This acquisition is subject to CBI approval.
Lowe (pictured) joins from Howden, but also previously worked for Reich before their acquisition by Howden.
