Come intern with one of the largest engineering companies in the world. This position will be part of Software and Advanced Technology (SAT) Security Software (SW) organization. This group is responsible for developing scalable security software products that creates value and simplifies integration of Intel Architecture (IA) security technologies in the cloud as this is where security platform features are manifested.
This specific position will be to design, develop and test additional feature sets for the SW product to secure key cloud infrastructure data. These features will be made ready for full regression testing, meeting security development life cycle requirements.
The candidate will work closely with architecture and engineering teams from different sites to complete the assignment. During the approximate 3 month assignment, the candidate will develop knowledge of cloud computing solutions, securing and protecting cloud platform and data using IA technologies/solutions, secure development life cycle, and working with global teams.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Requirements:

The candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and a minimum of 3+ months experience in:
Computer architecture, Compute programming, data structure and/or algorithms.
Linux OS
Programming languages (example Golang, C/C++ and/or bash)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Kubernetes.
Experience in software and hardware security.
Experience in Golang.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in
US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California:$40,000.00-$108,000.00
Salaryrangedependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
Work Model for this Role
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
