The Monad Foundation is a team of dedicated ecosystem and community builders who are on a mission to massively grow the impact of decentralized tech. We believe that the Monad blockchain--the performant and parallel EVM Layer 1--will help decentralized apps eat the world.

The Role

The Monad Foundation is seeking a highly-motivated individual to join the team during an exciting phase of company growth. The Executive Affairs and Operations function, will work directly with and in support of the co-founders and other company leadership requiring the ability to think tactically and pragmatically across a variety of subject matters. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptive, and analytical.

You will work in a fast-paced environment that requires ownership and prioritization of a broad range of responsibilities in both professional and personal contexts. An ability to execute and follow-through with the highest level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism is of utmost importance.

What You Will Do

• Travel management: You will coordinate travel for the co-founders

• Inbox management: You will help manage and prioritize communications for the co-founders across multiple platforms, ensuring critical items receive prompt attention

• Executive administration: You will assist with administrative, research, and logistical support across various domains including appointments, meeting preparation, expense management, and other projects for the co-founders

• Special projects: You will take ownership of emerging and oftentimes open-ended strategic initiatives that arise at a fast-growing startup.

  • Past examples include drafting a communications plan for a major announcement, devising a security strategy for the office, organizing an on-site for 50 employees, organizing leadership training, etc.

• Internal communications and coordination: You will streamline and coordinate communication flows across departments, ensuring that information reaches the right stakeholders at the right times.

• Process optimization: You will identify operational inefficiencies and implement solutions to improve workflow and productivity.

Who You Are

• You have a Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of professional experience

  • Preferred 3+ years as an executive assistant, Chief of Staff, operations, or similar role

  • Bonus experience at an early-stage or high-growth technology company

• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong keyboard touch typing skill (>75 WPM)

• You are operationally rigorous, highly organized, and efficiency-minded

• You can take full ownership of ambiguous, undefined tasks across a varied set of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

• You possess strong evaluation skills, good judgment and executive presence

• You are proficient in Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, Slack, and Notion

• You have US work authorization and English language fluency

• You are able to work in-person, in-office in NYC

• You are able to travel both domestically and internationally, likely 1-2x per year
