Requirements
  • Four to five years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated skill in solving problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with company management and outside business associates.
Responsibilities
  • Research, design, develop, and test electrical components or systems for commercial, industrial, or military use.
  • Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software or equipment to perform engineering tasks.
  • Prepare technical drawings and specifications of electrical systems to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
  • Develop detailed plans, statements of work, cost estimates, and proposals for technical document production.
  • Confer with engineers, customers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects or products.
  • Participate with engineering teams to resolve complex technical and operational issues.
  • Direct or coordinate manufacturing, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, or testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements.
  • Develop and recommend new or modified documentation policies and procedures.
  • Work safely in accordance with established operating practices and procedures.
Desired Qualifications
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on mixed circuit design.
  • Experience with IPC and military standards for circuit card design specifications.
  • Proficiency in printed circuit board design, including experience with PCB layout tools such as Cadence Allegro.
  • Experience creating statements of work covering detailed electrical circuit design, circuit-level analysis, qualification testing support, preparation of test procedures and reports, and hardware production manufacturing support.
  • Familiarity with the challenges of taking a product from design through production.
  • Hands-on laboratory experience with hardware bring-up and debugging.
  • Strong electrical engineering fundamentals, including analog and digital design.
  • Experience working with dynamic multifunctional teams.
