Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in business or construction management and the minimum required years of direct experience.
  • Five years of management experience in a residential homebuilder, with production-builder experience preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with engineers, municipalities, peers, leadership, business partners, and team members.
  • Ability to present ideas and solutions to leadership and key business partners and team members.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
  • Ability to coach, develop, and manage a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the Louisville Division, including consolidated financial statements, profit and loss, and balance sheet.
  • Teach, coach, and develop direct reports responsible for the Land, Sales, Purchasing, and Operations teams within the division.
  • Work with the National Strategy Team and other national team members to align the division with the company's short- and long-range goals.
  • Drive engagement and morale of division team members.
  • Own the customer experience for all customers.
  • Ensure land availability and delivery comply with short- and long-term needs for sales and asset management.
  • Manage Purchasing and Operations to achieve operational excellence.
  • Manage Sales to pursue price leadership while achieving gross-margin goals.
  • Manage general and administrative and overhead spending for the division.
  • Teach, coach, and develop direct reports to maximize individual growth and the company's opportunities.
  • Ensure the team aligns with the company's core values.
  • Increase access to homeownership by helping more people purchase homes.
