Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant disciplines (MCA, MSc in Computer Science etc.)
  • Total Experience – 7.5 years to 10 years
  • Experience with Java, Ext JS, Java Script, PL SQL
  • Experience in API Design Development and Testing
  • Experience in file transformations like JSON, XML etc.
  • Experience in test management and test execution
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • In-depth knowledge of software development best practices, build processes, IDEs, and database tools (e.g., SQL Developer, SQL Management Studio)
  • Strong experience with source code control systems such as GitHub, Jenkins
  • Proficiency in working with Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems, including commandline usage
  • Working knowledge of JIRA for issue and project tracking
  • Ability to evaluate competing solutions and make informed decisions to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Willingness to take ownership of end-to-end project delivery and provide technical guidance to assigned engineers
  • Confidence in making suggestions and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and ensure seamless information flow

Responsibilities
  • Understand business objectives and analyze customer requirements to propose effective technical solutions.
  • Provide effort estimates and contribute to solution planning, design and delivery.
  • Involved in solution design and design review processes to ensure alignment with business and technical objectives.
  • Develop, code, and unit test high-quality solutions in accordance with established standards and best practices.
  • Prepare and manage software releases, rollouts, and Hotfixes/patches, including release planning, scheduling, and creation of release notes.
  • Provide technical inputs and high-level estimates to support pre-sales activities, including PRS responses like estimations and design workshops.
  • Collaborate with customers and project teams to review requirements, specifications, and proposed solutions.
  • Ensure all deliverables, including code and documentation, undergo peer reviews and follow up to ensure feedback is addressed.
  • Perform risk assessments, prepare quotes, and define high-level functional and technical approaches for new software changes.
  • Investigate, triage, and resolve defects and issues, providing code fixes and unit testing in compliance with defined SLAs.
  • Provide on-site or remote support for go-live activities, dry runs, testing, and other deploymentrelated needs and work during customer time zones.
  • Coordinate and deliver product or solution demonstrations to clients.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience with Blue Yonder / JDA / RedPrairie WMS or other WMS platforms is an added advantage
  • Use of AI Tools – Cursor AI, Replit AI, GitHub Copilot
