Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Four to seven years of experience administering enterprise infrastructure and business systems.
  • Experience with Windows Server and Linux administration.
  • Experience with VMware or similar virtualization platforms.
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 services.
  • Experience supporting business-critical applications.
  • Working knowledge of networking, storage, backup, and cybersecurity concepts.
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Support virtualization platforms and associated infrastructure.
  • Assist with storage, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
  • Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability to ensure operational stability.
  • Perform system patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management activities.
  • Manage identity and access controls, including Active Directory and related services.
  • Support cloud-based infrastructure and SaaS platforms.
  • Participate in infrastructure projects and technology deployments.
  • Serve as a technical resource for internally developed and third-party business applications.
  • Troubleshoot application, integration, and performance issues.
  • Coordinate incident resolution with software developers, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Participate in application deployment, testing, and change management activities.
  • Create and maintain application support documentation and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and application optimization.
  • Assist in supporting application integrations and data workflows between business systems.
  • Support cybersecurity initiatives, vulnerability remediation, and security best practices.
  • Assist with audit, compliance, and documentation requirements.
  • Participate in incident response and root cause analysis activities.
  • Ensure systems adhere to organizational security standards and policies.
  • Provide technical support and escalation assistance for complex issues.
  • Participate in on-call support rotations as required.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and administrative tools.
  • Coordinate with technology vendors and support providers.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand and support operational requirements.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting internally developed business applications.
  • Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud services.
  • Experience with enterprise backup, monitoring, and logging platforms.
  • Experience supporting ERP platforms, payment processing solutions, or application integrations.
  • Relevant technical certifications such as Microsoft, VMware, Azure, AWS, Linux, or Security+.
