Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Two to four years of experience, including internships or commercial roles in trading, energy, finance, or related fields, is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, including the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Genuine interest in energy markets, sustainability, and financial trading is required.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required.
  • Candidates must be based in Montreal or Canada.
  • English fluency is required because the role regularly interacts with stakeholders across North America and international markets.
Responsibilities
  • Support growth opportunities in renewable natural gas supply and demand, including production and transportation fuel applications such as compressed natural gas.
  • Contribute to commercial negotiations, contract reviews, and relationship management with counterparties.
  • Monitor pricing, supply and demand trends, and regulatory changes to inform trading strategies.
  • Maintain sales pipelines, track opportunities, and assist origination managers with client outreach.
  • Work closely with senior traders to evaluate deals and develop innovative trading solutions.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on market trends, regulatory updates, and emerging business opportunities.
Desired Qualifications
  • An MBA or Master's degree in Finance or Economics is a strong asset.
