Medical University of South Carolina - Breast Imaging Radiologist

The Department of Radiology & Radiological Science at the Medical University of South Carolina seeks candidates to join its well-regarded Breast Imaging Division as an Assistant or Associate Professor in a clinician-educator role with a tenure track. The ideal candidate will have a desire to participate in the academic activities of the division, and will lead didactic teaching sessions for residents and medical students as needed. Requirements:

Applicants must have an MD or equivalent degree, be ABR Board-certified and fellowship trained, have experience in all aspects of breast imaging (including ultrasound and MR), and must be able to obtain a permanent South Carolina medical license to be considered.

About this position:

• Clinical practice located on MUSC’s main campus in downtown Charleston, SC

• Additional coverage at off-site facilities within the Charleston area

• Call coverage for breast imaging only

• Candidates should be able to perform Tomosynthesis, MR and US Guided Breast Biopsy, and Stereotactic Breast Biopsy

• MUSC’s Hollings Cancer Center is an NCI Designated Cancer Center and recipient of the ACR’s Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence accreditation
