Job Description:
This position will serve as a part-time worker research associate in the Language and Underdevelopmental Trajectories Lab, run by Dr. Eileen Haebig. This research lab aims to examine facilitators of word learning in children with typical development and children with neurodevelopmental disorders.
Job Responsibilities:
95% - Primary duties will include independently performing data scoring, data entry, and collection of data following research protocols.
5% - Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
Degree Substitute: LSU values skills, experience, and expertise. Candidates who have relevant experience in key job responsibilities are encouraged to apply - a degree is not needed as long as the candidate meets the required years of experienced specified.
Specific Experience: Experience as a research assistant, conducting psychological or developmental research.
Preferred Qualifications:
Working with children, particularly working with children who have an autism diagnosis.
