Red Bull makes and markets energy drinks. It focuses on a signature global beverage and uses a distinct marketing strategy to build the brand. How it works: the drink combines ingredients such as caffeine and sugars (originally based on Krating Daeng) and is carbonated for Western palates, distributed worldwide through large-scale marketing, sponsorships, and events to boost sales. How it differs: it remains privately held by the founding families, avoiding public funding, and relies on a marketing-heavy approach—extreme-sports sponsorships, high-profile events, and a strong brand identity—rather than conventional product features alone. What it aims to do: maintain leadership in the energy-drink category, grow globally through branding and partnerships, and continue expanding its product line and presence without going public.

Is Raikkonen's young son now heading into Red Bull's academy?

Is Raikkonen's young son now heading into Red Bull's academy? Robin Raikkonen is 11, was pictured in Verstappen's car at Monza, and is reportedly close to joining Red Bull's junior programme. An announcement is expected soon. Kimi Raikkonen's 11-year-old son Robin is reportedly set to join Red Bull's famous driver development programme, with an official announcement expected soon. Formula.hu reports that the deal is now effectively agreed after the Raikkonen family appeared in the Red Bull garage at Monza on Sunday. Robin, nicknamed 'Ace', was even pictured sitting in Max Verstappen's car, while Kimi and wife Minttu were seen with senior Red Bull figures. The move would make particular sense after Gino Rosato, Robin's godfather and a long-time friend of the Raikkonen family, recently joined Red Bull as a consultant. Rosato had already told Finnish newspaper Ilta-Sanomat that academy discussions were underway. "Of course. Those are things we are working on," he said. "We are evaluating options at the moment." He refused at the time to identify the team involved, but added: "Hopefully we will announce big news about this this year." The FIA have released the document detailing all the upgrades teams have brought for the Italian Grand Prix weekend, set to get underway in a matter of hours. With teams up and down the grid bringing changes for the 'Temple of Speed,' including Max Verstappen's Red Bull, here is the complete rundown. Will F1 2026 See More Team Boss Changes? Amid widespread concerns over energy management and straight-line speed at Monza, changes for the vast majority of teams come as no surprise, with Red Bull and Ferrari topping the list of updates this weekend, each with four changes this weekend. Hoping to bounce back from a nightmare DNF for Verstappen at the Dutch GP last time out, Red Bull have brought two updates relating to reliability - to the rear corner and exhaust tailpipe - but will also bring a revised floor body to help with performance and aerodynamic stability. The Milton Keynes' team's front wing will also see an update to improve flow conditioning. Meanwhile, Ferrari bring four circuit specific changes to Monza, all in a bid to target aerodynamic drag saving. McLaren and Mercedes have each brought two updates - the former with rear wing and floor furniture upgrades that target performance with regard to drag reduction and air flow. McLaren will hope that their newly dubbed 'H-wing' will deliver their third straight win of the 2026 season, following victories at the very different Hungaroring and Zandvoort circuits. Read also. Williams and Haas lead the way further down the grid. Photo: Race Pictures Towards the back of the grid, Williams and Haas each bring three updates to Monza - the latter in the shape of performance upgrades on the floor, bodywork and rear corner, while Williams bring circuit-specific changes to their halo, front wing, and floor body. Aston Martin, fresh off the back of their best result of the season at Zandvoort - courtesy of Fernando Alonso's P9 finish at the Dutch GP - will hope to continue their mid-season turnaround. The Silverstone team bring two performance upgrades targeting local load on the front suspension and floor edge. The only team not to bring updates to the Italian GP this weekend is Audi, as Alpine, Racing Bulls and Cadillac each arrive with two changes at Monza. Yet to score a point this season, Cadillac have brought change performance upgrades to the forward floor board stay and their diffuser. Who will win the Italian GP? Don't miss GPblog in Google. Published Sep 2, 2026 1:45 PM EDT Red Bull released limited-edition energy drink cans on Monday, Aug. 31, across Michigan only. These 8.4-ounce and 12-ounce cans feature Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, with the blue-and-white design displaying photos of the receiver. "I've never been on a can. Growing up, you'd see athletes on cereal boxes, but I've never seen an athlete on a can, so I think it's awesome," said Amon-Ra St. Brown, according to Deadline Detroit. "Everyone drinks Red Bull and knows what it is, so to be on a can is definitely surreal." Amon-Ra St. Brown has been a Red Bull spokesperson since 2025. He joins other athletes who've scored limited-edition cans, including Olympian Lindsey Vonn, Brazil's Neymar Jr., and Indiana Pacers' Pascal Siakam. Detroit picked St. Brown in the fourth round during the 2021 draft out of USC. He's logged five seasons with the squad. Last season, he caught 117 passes and racked up 1,401 yards with 11 touchdowns across 17 games. His receptions and total yardage ranked fifth among wide receivers. His touchdown count tied for second in the league. After the 2024 season, St. Brown signed a four-year, $120 million contract with $77 million guaranteed with the Lions, locking him in through 2028. St. Brown is known for creative expressions during touchdowns. Fans can join in his celebration dances by submitting a homemade touchdown-dance video to the Red Bull St. Brown fan link. Red Bull will pick the five best videos, and St. Brown will pick his favorite. That person will get to meet Amon-Ra St. Brown in person. Globally, people recognize Red Bull energy drinks, as the drink is distributed in 178 countries.
