Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and/or appropriate experience
  • 4 + years of relevant experience with SQL data management, preferably in the clinical trials industry
  • 2 + years of direct line management experience
  • Advanced MS Excel expertise; SAS is a plus
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and SQL
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor direct reports, providing support, training, and development opportunities
  • Assume responsibility for team performance and adherence to SLAs
  • Manage data-related processes and procedures, such as data changes, verifications, data transfers, extracts, etc.
  • Review and assess specifications for clarity, completeness, and impact
  • Draft and execute quality SQL scripts
  • Act as a contact for management regarding critical issues and special client considerations
  • Assist management in overall Data Management activities
  • Collaborate with Client Services and customers to ensure outputs align with original requests
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of study functionality to ensure data integrity
  • Participate in conference calls and meetings with external teams as needed
  • Manage and continuously update Data Management best practices
  • Perform other duties as required, including weekend and holiday coverage as needed
