Program Manager

As a Program Manager, you will accelerate Character’s model development in new capabilities. You will own part of the model development flywheel and partner with researchers and external partners to deliver research, technical, and operational excellence. You will become fluent in one or multiple domains, help shape model behaviors, and support the productization of new capabilities toward our mission of developing Superintelligence.

What you’ll do

• Design, manage, and execute plans to develop new model behavior through data collection, annotation, and generation

• Dive into the data to identify user insights and performance in target capabilities

• Develop custom evaluations to track the performance of data on new capabilities

• Contribute to the development of our tooling, process and ontology as aligned with our research roadmap

• Collaborate with research and product to shape new model capabilities

What you’ll bring

• BS degree in a quantitative field; MS/PhD preferred.

• 2+ years experience working in the frontier of science, technology or business.

• Detail-oriented with executive maturity and the ability to influence, communicate and lead initiatives at all levels of the organization.

• Working knowledge of SQL and Python.

• Detailed understanding and passion in cutting-edge ML and AI including: data, modalities, prompt engineering, product development and current research challenges.
