Requirements
  • At least 7 years of experience in complex business-to-business sales, ideally in enterprise software as a service, industrial technology, manufacturing technology, or another operationally critical category.
  • Evidence of personally creating, closing, and expanding complex enterprise opportunities rather than only managing opportunities generated by others.
  • Experience navigating £500,000–£1,000,000+ or €500,000–€1,000,000+ deal complexity, or an equivalent combination of contract value, stakeholder breadth, deployment risk, and commercial sophistication.
  • Success across sales cycles of 6–18 months or longer involving multiple functions, sites, geographies, and senior decision-makers.
  • A track record of converting initial deployments or pilots into meaningful multi-site expansion.
  • Strong command of MEDDPICC or an equivalent enterprise qualification discipline, demonstrated through deal execution rather than a training credential.
  • Credibility with chief operating officers, chief financial officers, chief information officers, and senior operational leaders.
  • Ability to build business cases based on measurable operational and financial outcomes.
  • Strong commercial judgment across pricing, negotiation, procurement, legal complexity, and value protection.
  • Disciplined forecasting grounded in customer evidence and explicit next steps.
  • Ability to develop a clear account thesis, translate it into action, and adapt it as new evidence emerges.
  • Ability to challenge constructively, diagnose deal blockers, build alternative routes, and remain coachable while exercising independent judgment.
Responsibilities
  • Develop a point of view on each named account, including operational constraints, the urgency for change, problem ownership, and Factbird’s measurable enterprise value.
  • Build pipeline personally through account research, executive outreach, internal champions, partner routes, and relevant transformation events.
  • Lead discovery that tests assumptions, exposes the cost of inaction, and helps customers define the operational and financial case for change.
  • Use MEDDPICC as a decision framework by identifying the economic buyer, decision criteria, decision process, competition, champions, and commercial risks early enough to influence the outcome.
  • Build and lead a multithreaded strategy across Operations, Information Technology, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and executive leadership.
  • Anticipate deal stalls, surface difficult issues, and create routes around technical, political, financial, and organisational blockers.
  • Own the commercial strategy for pilots and proof-of-value programmes in partnership with Solutions Consulting and Customer Success.
  • Define success measures before deployment, maintain executive visibility, and ensure pilots answer the questions required for an enterprise decision.
  • Convert operational outcomes into a chief financial officer-grade business case with a clear path to scale.
  • Own deals involving complex buying groups, extended sales cycles, procurement processes, legal negotiation, and significant commercial value.
  • Develop deal strategies that protect value while simplifying the path to signature, maintain a precise view of deal health, and communicate risks accurately.
  • Establish executive sponsorship, governance, deployment principles, and an expansion roadmap from the outset of the enterprise journey.
  • Work across regional and global stakeholders to convert one site into 20, 100, or more sites and embed Factbird into customers’ operational and financial planning cycles.
  • Help sharpen account strategy, qualification discipline, deal reviews, value methodology, and the global expansion playbook.
  • Build multithreaded strategies across named enterprise accounts, create and advance qualified opportunities with senior executive sponsorship, establish decision paths, progress pilots with explicit success criteria, and build global expansion plans.

Factbird launches Quality & Compliance and Reports for manufacturing intelligence platform

Factbird has launched two additions to its manufacturing intelligence platform: Quality & Compliance and Factbird Reports. The tools address challenges faced by manufacturers operating multiple sites, including inconsistent processes, regulatory documentation pressure and fragmented data systems. Quality & Compliance digitalises shopfloor quality documentation supporting regulatory frameworks including FDA 21 CFR Part 11. Features include electronic signatures, automated audit trails, access controls and an AI Activity Creator that converts paper forms into digital workflows. The system is designed for regulated manufacturers in food and beverage, pharma and medical devices. Factbird Reports provides automated access to standardised production performance data across roles and sites, featuring a no-code Report Builder and scheduled distribution. Quality & Compliance is available now, whilst Reports launches on 20 May 2026.

Factbird adds Quality & Compliance and Reports to its manufacturing intelligence platform. * 2 hrs ago Today, Factbird is announcing two major additions to its manufacturing intelligence platform: Quality & Compliance and Factbird Reports. Both address a problem that compounds as manufacturers grow. More sites mean more variation in how work gets done. More regulation means more documentation pressure on frontline teams. And more data, when fragmented across systems, often slows decisions rather than speeding them up. Solving this has traditionally meant large IT projects and months of deployment. "Enterprise manufacturers shouldn't have to choose between capability and simplicity," said Mogens Arne Hansen, Chief Technology and Product Officer at Factbird. "With Quality & Compliance and Reports, you can have standardized, audit-ready operations and automated performance reporting across every site, deployed in days, used by the people on the floor." Quality & Compliance: standardized, compliant operations across every site Regulated manufacturers in food and beverage, pharma, and medical devices face a growing documentation burden. Audit preparation is reactive, quality deviations go undetected, and the same compliance gaps appear at every site, multiplied. Quality & Compliance closes that gap by digitalizing shopfloor quality documentation in support of regulatory frameworks, including FDA 21 CFR Part 11. Key capabilities cover electronic signatures linked to individual users, time-stamped audit trails generated automatically, access controls limiting sign-off to authorized personnel, and an AI Activity Creator that converts existing paper forms into structured digital workflows in minutes. Because it is built into the Factbird platform rather than deployed as a separate system, there are no new integrations, no separate vendor, and no lengthy validation project required to get started. Reports: the right data, for the right role, at the right time For many manufacturers, data is not the problem. What they struggle with is that their data is fragmented, slow to reach the people who need it, and too complex to use without specialist tools. When compounded across multiple sites, they face a greater risk of making decisions based on inconsistent numbers. Factbird Reports is built natively on live production data from the shop floor. It gives every role in the organization automated and immediate access to standardized production performance, without needing to involve BI tools, IT experts, or manual reporting work. Key capabilities include a no-code Report Builder, scheduled email distribution at any cadence, and multi-site reporting with standardized KPIs so performance can be benchmarked consistently across plants. Shift leaders see what happened during a shift the moment it ends; plant managers can easily review trends without pulling a spreadsheet, and leadership receives a cross-site summary that is auto-delivered, ready to be acted on. Availability Quality & Compliance is available now in Factbird's Connected Operations App. Reports is available from 20 May 2026 in the Factbird Production Insights App. For more information, visit www.factbird.com. About Factbird Factbird is a manufacturing intelligence suite that turns real-time production data into actionable insights, helping manufacturers reduce waste and improve efficiency. Since 2016, manufacturers worldwide have used Factbird to drive continuous improvement, with deployments across 40 countries and offices in Denmark, the US, and Germany. Media gallery
