Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with core infrastructure software and distributed systems.
  • Strong proficiency in systems programming languages such as Rust, C, or C++.
  • Experience with distributed systems and blockchain technology.
  • Ability to analyze complex systems, identify potential issues, and develop effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of common security threats and best practices for securing block production processes.
  • Experience with performance profiling and optimization techniques.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and optimize mechanisms for block production to enhance the throughput and stability of the Solana network.
  • Develop and refine scheduling mechanisms for block production and block verification to enable efficient transaction processing, fair resource allocation, and predictable performance.
  • Identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities within the pipeline.
  • Improve pipeline scalability to handle increasing transaction volumes and validator participation without compromising performance.
  • Create and execute comprehensive tests for block production, block verification, and scheduling mechanisms, including stress tests, fault injection, and performance benchmarking.
  • Collaborate with core protocol engineers, security experts, and infrastructure teams to integrate and maintain block production components.
  • Maintain documentation of block production and scheduling protocols and conduct peer code reviews.
  • Design and maintain high-performance shared-memory interfaces between scheduling and execution stages for low-latency coordination and efficient data movement across the validator pipeline.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Linux, systems automation tools, and systems architecture.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems architecture and principles.
  • Experience designing secure protocols, software, and algorithms that minimize trust requirements.
  • Active participation in Bitcoin, Ethereum, blockchain projects, or the open-source community.

Anza launches first automated scenario modelling engine for battery storage development

Anza, an energy storage and solar development platform, has launched automated scenario modelling and configuration tools within its Energy Storage Pro platform. The new capabilities replace manual, spreadsheet-driven workflows with market-wide decision intelligence for utility-scale and distributed generation battery energy storage system development. The platform now covers 95% of the US battery storage market and enables development teams to model system configurations, benchmark supplier quotes and simulate tariff risk in days rather than weeks. Key features include automated scenario modelling, custom configuration analysis and centralised quote benchmarking. Launched in May 2025, Energy Storage Pro previously provided pricing and lifecycle cost analytics. The latest release adds scenario-based decision modelling across technical design, timing and regulatory risk. The platform is available via subscription.
