The Role
As our Growth Marketing Lead, you’ll be responsible for demand generation and lifecycle marketing to capture and keep the interest of data teams around the world. Your integrated marketing campaigns should aim for winning the hearts and minds of data engineers, analytics-engineers, and analysts through showing them the benefits of the best data observability platform on the market.
You’ll own digital ad channels, email marketing, marketing operations, paid SEO, with more as you see fit. We’re looking for active contributors that aren’t afraid to push the traditional frameworks of marketing and are constantly looking to improve how they reach goals.
Your day-to-day at Metaplane
As part of our growing marketing team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include the following:
Growth Marketing Strategy: Set our channel strategy and plan campaigns that help us grow awareness and fill our sales pipeline. You’ll be straddling between Marketing, BD, and Sales often, sharing funnel metrics insights weekly. You’ll also collaborate with the Product team on in-product growth strategy and referral/affiliate strategy.
Channel Ownership: Own, build, and grow email, ABM, SEO, and paid marketing channels.
Paid Marketing: Build out Metaplane’s paid media strategy and hire contractors or agencies to execute search and paid social advertising campaigns.
Contractor and Agency Management: Hire contractors, agencies, and teammates as needed to hit growth goals. You’ll start as a growth marketing team of one, which will increase to two in 2025.
Marketing Analytics: Create full-funnel dashboards to help us measure, optimize, and scale our marketing efforts. Report on performance to Head of Marketing and senior leadership team.
Website: Own our website performance. ****You’ll set up comprehensive referral tracking, create landing pages, follow SEO best practices, and run A/B tests to improve our website’s conversion rate.
Marketing Ops: You’ll manage the marketing tech stack, add tools and make improvements as needed. Current stack: Webflow, Zapier, HubSpot, Sigma, Notion, and Amplitude.
Is this you?
You have at least 5-9 years of demand generation, growth marketing, or marketing programs experience, ideally in B2B SaaS. Bonus points if you have experience with a product-led growth model.
You’re a self-starter and thrive in an environment with tons of autonomy.
You’re experiment-driven, and enjoy trying out new things to either reach new audiences or improve a campaign you’ve launched in the past.
You have a proven track record at driving meaningful results at the top- and middle of the funnel, without sacrificing customer experience.
You have experience working across multiple acquisition channels, with deep mastery in 2-3 areas currently.
You’re experienced in playing the role of project/program manager and can juggle multiple projects.
You have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with others
