Requirements
  • 2+ years experience in sales and/or marketing demand generation. Experience selling enterprise software/SaaS product a plus
  • Experience selling into Life Science domain and a natural curiosity for big data
  • Experience using CRM to track and manage outreach
  • BA / BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with sales and marketing tools, including HubSpot and LinkedIn Navigator
  • Proven track record articulating products/services and building rapport with prospects
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals within the last 12 months
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Excellent planning skills
  • Sense of urgency and ability to work with tight deadlines
  • Desire to seek out new experiences, knowledge, and candid feedback and an openness to learning and change
Responsibilities
  • Finding new sales opportunities: Prospect from demand generation data and cold leads via phone calls, emails, and social channels with the goal of setting qualified meetings with the right buying persona. Work with marketing team to drive demand generation campaigns. Achieve daily and weekly outreach targets. Achieve weekly/monthly sales meeting appointment targets
  • Researching customers: Learning about a customer's pipeline, product portfolio, recent news, business needs, annual revenue, and current vendors.
  • Following up with customers: Making follow-up calls to assess customer needs and discuss solutions. Build relationships with decision-makers and executives of clients
  • Providing product demonstrations: Schedule product demonstrations, and collaborate with the Sales team to qualify customers, build a pipeline and drive deals
  • Keep Learning: Develop and maintain technical and marketing knowledge around the Sorcero platform and brand. Keep up on life science and AI industry news and events.
