THE INSIDE SALES MANAGER ROLE
We are looking for an Inside Sales Manager (ISM) who will work with our marketing and sales team to generate demand for the Sorcero Intelligence Platform. The ISM will contribute to the rapid adoption of our platform by life sciences manufacturers.
The ideal candidate has a track record of driving business growth by proactively identifying and pursuing sales opportunities through phone, email, and virtual meetings. In this role, you’ll nurture marketing qualified leads through marketing campaigns, conduct engaging product demonstrations, and develop relationships with potential customers. You’ll work closely with our sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs, present tailored solutions, and consistently meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong interpersonal communication skills, and can effectively manage multiple opportunities throughout the sales cycle. Experience with CRM systems and a track record of closing B2B sales is essential for success in this position.
INSIDE SALES MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Finding new sales opportunities: Prospect from demand generation data and cold leads via phone calls, emails, and social channels with the goal of setting qualified meetings with the right buying persona. Work with marketing team to drive demand generation campaigns. Achieve daily and weekly outreach targets. Achieve weekly/monthly sales meeting appointment targets
- Researching customers: Learning about a customer’s pipeline, product portfolio, recent news, business needs, annual revenue, and current vendors.
- Following up with customers: Making follow-up calls to assess customer needs and discuss solutions. Build relationships with decision-makers and executives of clients
- Providing product demonstrations: Schedule product demonstrations, and collaborate with the Sales team to qualify customers, build a pipeline and drive deals
- Keep Learning: Develop and maintain technical and marketing knowledge around the Sorcero platform and brand. Keep up on life science and AI industry news and events.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
A collaborative individual contributor with a desire to learn and drive sales opportunities.
- 2+ years experience in sales and/or marketing demand generation. Experience selling enterprise software/SaaS product a plus
- Experience selling into Life Science domain and a natural curiosity for big data
- Experience using CRM to track and manage outreach
- BA / BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with sales and marketing tools, including HubSpot and LinkedIn Navigator
- Proven track record articulating products/services and building rapport with prospects
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals within the last 12 months
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Excellent planning skills
- Sense of urgency and ability to work with tight deadlines
- Desire to seek out new experiences, knowledge, and candid feedback and an openness to learning and change
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Sorcero is a remote and globally distributed team. We offer rewarding compensation that will include a base salary and variable compensation based on attaining MQL targets. The compensation for this role is between $55,000-$80,000 depending on experience.
