About the Role
The Finance Support Analyst will be responsible for delivering a broad range of financial services to Rural and Remote Health (RRH) in South Australia and the Northern Territory. In close collaboration with budget holders, this role supports the development of budgets and forecasts, prepares financial reports, and provides training and guidance to administrative staff on financial systems. Additionally, the Finance Support Analyst ensures financial compliance for RRH under the direction of the Senior Financial Analyst.
The position may be based at any Rural and Remote Health SA or NT campus. The incumbent will be required to reside in one of these regions:

About You
To be successful in this role you will exhibit:
- Relevant tertiary qualification, or equivalent combination of experience and/or education and/or training
- Proven knowledge and experience with large complex computerised Finance Systems
- Experience in creating budgets, forecasts and producing financial reports
- Exceptional customer service skills, providing advice and financial support in a timely manner
- Ability to maintain effective records systems, including attention to detail in the preparation of spreadsheets and data entry
- Sound knowledge of contemporary financial and administrative systems, software and practices, and experience in interpreting and applying a range of relevant policies and procedures within a large and complex organisation.

About Flinders Rural and Remote Health NT
At Flinders Rural and Remote Health NT, our aim is to be a hub for innovative health research, education, and workforce development across the Northern Territory. We engage with students, community, and stakeholders to provide critical programs, such as the Northern Territory Medical Program, Paramedicine, Rural Clinical School, and the University Department of Rural Health.
Our postgraduate education pathways (Remote Health Practice program), provides workforce development through Indigenous health and clinical skills training, and we have a community driven research program led by researchers committed to improving health outcomes. We work alongside Poche SA+NT focussing on Indigenous leadership capacity development and developing the Indigenous health workforce. Flinders University Rural and Remote Health SA (FRRHSA) facilitates high quality multidisciplinary health education and research in our State's regional areas.

- Northern Territory Government legislation (the Care and Protection of Children Act 2007) now requires all individuals in child related employment or whose duties involve, or are likely to involve, contact with a child, to hold a valid 'Working with Children Clearance' (Ochre Card). This position involves child related work and is assessed as requiring a Working with Children Clearance/Ochre Card.
- It is a requirement of this position that the incumbent maintain a current Working With Children Check which is satisfactory to the University in accordance with the Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016 (SA).
- Staff working in a health care setting are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID in line with the NT Health policy.
