Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (or meet local minimum age requirements).
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedule with 60% availability for Ball events (schedule online) and some mandatory shifts each season (Mandatory shifts are things like Season openers, any teams playoffs, NCAA, holidays, family shows, etc.). Most events are evening with a few matinees.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be comfortable standing for entirety of shift, extensive walking, and carrying items for extended periods.
Responsibilities
  • Operate a mobile dessert cart throughout the arena concourse or designated areas.
  • Greet guests enthusiastically and provide excellent customer service.
  • Take and process customer orders using a handheld POS system
  • Handle credit card transactions
  • Restock desserts and supplies as needed throughout the event.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the dessert cart at all times.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper storage and temperature control.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory, customer concerns, or issues.
  • Uphold the arena’s brand image and service expectations during all interactions.
  • Perform setup and breakdown duties before and after events, including cleaning and inventory checks.
  • Communicate with suite attendants to coordinate when the dessert cart needs to stop by a suite
  • Bus dishes and load dish washer in theater boxes
  • Run hot and cold food from the kitchen to the theater boxes prior to event time
  • Run beverages from the pantry to the theater boxes during event time
  • Help maintain cleanliness in the theater boxes during service
  • Coordinate with kitchen to deliver food to the theater box
  • On days you are not working the dessert cart, you will be a runner and busser for both Theater Boxes, which are two premium all-inclusive suites in the arena.

  • Prior food service, retail, or hospitality experience.
