As the Wireless Engineering Technologist, you’ll be responsible for defining and driving the execution for Dell’s wireless strategy.  Your strategy will be driven by customer needs, competitive insights and technical innovations that enable Dell wireless leadership across the full PC product portfolio.  You will work with CTO peers, architects, business strategists, and marketing shaping the future of wireless technology in the modern AI PC era.

You will:

• Define and lead the wireless strategy, architecture, and system integration to deliver innovative solutions aligned with Dell’s long-term goals
• Drive wireless R&D across system, edge, and infrastructure levels, contributing through technical innovation and intellectual property generation
• Engage with customers and collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to optimize and deliver impactful wireless solutions
• Influence and contribute to industry standards that support and enable the wireless strategy
• Mentor and guide peers within the technical community, fostering alignment with business objectives and promoting technical excellence

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in wireless technologies including wwan, wifi and bluetooth
• Proven ability to influence internal and external stakeholders to drive strategic outcomes and align cross-functional teams
• Strong understanding of PC wireless system design including electronics, software, antennas and mechanical design
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset

Desirable Requirements:

• Typically requires 15+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 12+ years and a Master’s degree; or 8+ years and a PhD; or equivalent experience

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $229,500 - $342,650.
