Requirements
  • A current California Registered Nurse license is required.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification is required.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is required.
  • One year of acute care nursing experience is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, quality care in perioperative and procedural areas.
  • Implement the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation of the nursing plan of care, and evaluation of patient response to care.
  • Coordinate patient care planning with other hospital disciplines.
  • Rotate between the Community Memorial Health System Ambulatory, Infusion, and Pain Centers.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
  • Experience with moderate sedation is preferred.
  • Acute care experience is preferred.
  • American Board of Certification for Gastroenterology Nurses certification is preferred.
  • Membership in the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Det Norske Veritas (DNV) is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of word-processing software are preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish ability is preferred.
