Requirements
- Excellent writing and research skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to both inhabit and advance a shared voice
- Excellent command of English with exceptional writing and communication skills
- Bachelor's or higher degree, ideally, in English, Journalism, Media, Communications, Marketing or related fields
- 2 years of content creation and/or editorial experience (in web3, cryptocurrency, DeFi, and/or Fintech preferred)
- Are a voracious and varied media consumer with interests that span technology, society, popular culture, and current affairs
- Able to produce multiple forms of content such as infographics, audiograms, images, videos, and memes (seriously, you LOVE trying new platforms, tools, apps and filters!)
- Highly organized and comfortable working across time zones and multiple projects
- Strong ability to multitask and work quickly under tight daily deadlines, without sacrificing the quality of the content
- Able to rationalize, recommend and present content ideas both internally and to partners
- Thrives in the editing and feedback process and operates with the understanding that a rigorous, constructive edit is an essential part of delivering the best work
- Fundamental understanding of web traffic metrics, analytics and content optimization
- A well-rounded portfolio that showcases an on-brand aesthetic that lends well to a range of audiences
Responsibilities
- Review, edit, and update content for blog, PR, website, video scripts, UX/UI, social media and similar platforms
- Collaborate to design and execute creative briefs that advance a content strategy that maps to strategic goals and target audience (Education hub, Research articles, branding message and product tutorial videos)
- Create educational and thought leadership articles
- Drive effective and creative marketing campaigns, working cross-functionally with design, content, product, and other teams (Social media & branding campaigns)
- Collaborate with product and business development, marketing specialists, designers, video editors, and other teams and creatives to quickly draft engaging content pieces
- Incorporate SEO best practices into writing, including the integration of keywords, in-line links, formatting and more
- Expand our reach by leveraging owned, earned and paid distribution channels, including social media, communities, paid-ads, media outlets and influencers
