The candidate must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting, pushing, pulling, or moving 50 pounds or more, assisting residents with transfers, and standing or walking for extended periods.
Responsibilities
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living.
Assist with transfers, mobility, positioning, and use of wheelchairs or other equipment.
Obtain vital signs and promptly report changes or concerns to nursing staff.
Serve meals and assist residents with eating and drinking as needed.
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe resident environment.
Document care provided and communicate resident needs to the nursing team.
Follow infection prevention, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
