How you will help
As a Software Engineer on the Contract Platforms Technology Engineering team, you will design and develop software solutions to revolutionize the healthcare industry. Working with a team of Software Engineers, you will utilize your expertise on Frontend technologies to mentor team members on TypeScript and React best practices. You will contribute to a culture of accountability and collaboration, while setting expectations of software quality.
What you will do
• Design and develop software across our full product stack (React on the frontend, powered by a robust backend microservice architecture)
• Contribute to our product direction by translating customer requirements into functional, scalable code, consulting with product and design resources to guide our engineering choices and workflow
• Devise and implement improvements to our automated testing and deployment processes
• Manage the operation and automation of production environments
• Triage technical support requests as needed

The Contract Platform Technologies team leverages the following technologies in our day-to-day development process:
Typescript, React, AWS: Cloud Formation, CDK, Athena, Lambda, Step Functions, IAM, Cognito, S3, Quicksight, Opensearch, Glue Tables, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SNS, Cypress, Circle CI
About you
• Motivated to automate processes efficiently and effectively
• Understand best technical practices
• Take initiative and always look for ways to grow your skill set
Desired skills and experience
• 5+ years of experience making full stack contributions to production web applications
• Comfortable with ES6 JavaScript / TypeScript
• Strong development-tools fundamentals (git/GitHub, npm/yarn dependency management, etc.)
• Proficient, working knowledge of AWS (bonus: Lambda/Serverless)
• Experience maintaining microservice-driven production systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical and subject matter concepts to wide range of audiences (such as customers and internal stakeholders)
Base salary for the role is commensurate with experience and can range between $63,000 - $250,000 + annual bonus opportunity.
