Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience related to specific functional area
  • Currently hold, or be able to attain a CompTIA CYSA+ or equivalent IAT II certification
  • Experience and knowledge on security standards and controls used by the Intelligence Community
  • Creating, maintaining, and updating related knowledge management and technical documentation
  • Assessing information security and providing programmatic consultation in support of information systems and networks and the confidentiality, integrity, availability, authenticity, and non-repudiation of the data being assembled, processed, transmitted, and stored
  • Understanding of Federal laws and regulations governing information security and IA
  • Managing the implementation, testing, and validation of security requirements and assisting in the design of a strong security operations program and effective dashboards
  • Monitoring, assessing, and maintaining systems and procedures to protect data systems and databases (ACAS/Nessus)
  • Demonstrated initiative (i.e. initiate appropriate action without being directed) and ability to work independently
Responsibilities
  • ensure that the architecture and design of the DoD information systems are functional and secure
  • manage IA enabled products, interface specifications, and approaches to secure the environment
  • tools support such as ACAS
  • providing inputs on the adequacy of security designs and architectures
  • participation in risk assessment
  • the tracking and dissemination of vulnerability assessments
  • adverse cyber related activity identified through indicators
  • manage all aspects of infrastructure systems used to manage vulnerability management tools & resources
