Responsibilities
  • Build a flight log parser that can ingest large amounts of flight data and look for specific signals for preventative maintenance
  • Scope the project with the help of the team, collect requirements
  • Produce a trade study, followed by a design doc for a first version
  • Build the system end-to-end and test it with existing flight logs
  • Deploy to production backend (includes some amount of frontend work)
  • Collaborate/communicate with engineering and flight testing
