THE POSITION

The Senior Real Time Graphics Developer is responsible for the creation, development, and deployment of Ross XPression graphics.

Creation of template graphics in an accurate and timely manner. In addition to building graphics, this person must operate multiple graphic devices for play-out to air while maintaining high technical standards.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

• Design, animate and develop graphics using Ross XPression.
• Utilize Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, and other graphics software to support graphics creations.
• Plan, build, maintain, and update custom graphics and directories.
• Work independently or lead a team of developers.
• Work closely with Art Directors, Animators, Designers, and Production.
• Proactively research and collaborate with developers to improve workflow and pipeline.
• Document packages and SOP.
• Recognize, report, and help troubleshoot equipment/software/ work environment issues.
• Adhere to all administrative responsibilities, including time entry and daily reporting requirements.
• Programming template with Intelligent Interface systems

What we’re looking for in our next teammate

• Minimum of 5 years of live broadcast graphic design experience at a national television network or equivalent.
• Expert-level knowledge of Ross XPression, Adobe Creative Cloud including After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Expert-level understanding of broadcast and television production technology.
• Drive to learn, create, and apply cutting-edge technology, and ability to share skills with others.
• Drive to contribute to new and innovative ideas.
• Works well in a high-pressure graphics and wagering environment
• Ability to troubleshoot issues with Ross XPression, Tick-It, and other application.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to plan and implement new hardware, software, and studio builds.
• Strong skills in coaching, mentoring and leading development of teammates.
• Attention to details, spelling, and grammar.
• Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule consisting of weekends and holidays

Nice to have

• Minimum of 7 years of live broadcast graphic design experience at a national television network or equivalent.
• Expert-level knowledge and understanding of Ross XPression.
• Experience with VBScript or other programming language.
• Sports familiarity, including NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, College Football, and Horse Racing.
