Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience: One (1) year of professional program, outreach, or event coordination experience.
  • Other: Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education.
  • Knowledge of outreach and marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record-keeping.
  • Skill in oral and written communication.
  • Skill in the use of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
Responsibilities
  • Lead retention and engagement efforts for IBH students.
  • Coordinate daily operations of the IBH program.
  • Plan extracurricular events, orientations, and student communications.
  • Advise students and student organizations.
  • Provide support to the program staff and faculty as needed.
  • Some evening and weekend work is required.
  • Report to the IBH Associate Director.
Desired Qualifications
  • Two years of experience working with students in a role related to student retention, student advising, and student programming.
  • Masters degree in higher education, student affairs, or a related field preferred
  • Background in advising, student programming, and/or program administration
  • Experience with students from diverse backgrounds
