Responsibilities
  • The Visual Merchandising Senior Specialist is responsible for merchandising apparel & intimates floorsets inclusive of strategic product placement, marketing levers and visual styling by creating presentations that build brand equity, are customer friendly, and scalable for all stores.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional partners to support overall production of mock store floorsets, including sample management, mapping, translations, and testing.
  • Serves as a liaison to merchant, planning & allocation partners, and store operations partners.
  • Supports the development and implementation of apparel & intimate strategies into creative, fashion-oriented, and brand right merchandising presentations for each floorset inclusive of brand promos, tiered presentations, tests, and product updates.
  • Cultivates and maintains strong working relationships with merchants to ensure accuracy and strategic alignment in floorsets and product category strategies.
  • Actively seeks customer insights to best understand how our customer shops and apply critical learnings to visual merchandising strategies.
  • Supports visual communications with all content, translations and tests.
  • Oversees all floorset mapping inclusive of mock store maps and brand guide maps.
  • Manages shot list and content for all floorsets & tests.
  • Assists in development and editing of all Brand Guides.
  • Knowledgeable of latest fashion, environmental and interior trends
Desired Qualifications
  • 4-6 years in retail home office setting, and stores experience
  • College degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage and complete assignments accurately and on a timely basis
  • Strong time management, organizational and simplification/process improvement skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working in a team setting and in managing cross-functional relationships
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to be a team player and foster a positive commitment to teamwork

Sarah Evans named chief human resources officer at KnitWell Group
