Essential Responsibilities/Job Duties

• The Procurement Analyst forecasts past and future volumes in monthly and quarterly reports which are utilized to identify trends in Procurement.  Qualified individuals must be able to work closely with the Senior Director of Procurement to ensure timely and accurate reporting for both senior management and operational personnel
• Work closely with other functional departments such as: Procurement Management, Real Estate, and Cash Disbursements to obtain quarterly forecasts
• Develop tracking spreadsheets for vendor and volume reporting weekly
• Assist with all tasks of Procurement to ensure items are accurate and executed timely
• Manage relationships with their respective vendors
• Assist our homes in the field with ordering processes
• Help revise and send out Request For Proposals to potential suppliers
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelors degree required, degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to demonstrate effective project management skills and look for ways to further automate our current processes.  
• Proficiency in all Microsoft applications including the ability to utilize pivot tables and manage large data extractions from core systems.
• Previous experience with Microsoft Access and Oracle system usage is preferred but not required. Ability to proactively identify, communicate and relay to management positive and negative trends.
• Ability to accumulate and report of data for various frequencies.  
• Ability to present in a group setting key findings and trends with forecasts and large data analysis.
• Must show willingness to work with other finance/accounting areas and have ownership over monthly reporting.
• Ability to work in an open office environment (both individually and as a team).
