  • 5+ years of experience in a project/process engineering position in a related industry
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Experience in AUTOCAD is a must
  • Knowledge of piping systems, tanks, and equipment including pumps, compressors, and valves

Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize the business opportunities into viable projects
  • Deliver the feasibility and pre-FEED designs for oil, chemicals and gas projects
  • Support the development of Basis Of Design (BOD), as part of the Investment Proposals for the various projects
  • Prepare the PFD, layout in AutoCAD ensuring meeting local regulations, Vopak standards, and international standards
  • Prepare the basis of design, functional requirements, process description, performance measurement criteria, and commissioning plans
  • Prepare process flow diagrams, plot plan, piping and instrument diagrams, process specs for equipment
  • Carry out technical calculations using Global Tech & engineering design tools and processes to support designs
  • Review and prepare project design specifications; comply with local regulations, Vopak standards, and international standards while developing designs
  • Stakeholder engagement; raising GE profile among project engineers within the organization, training other project engineers as required
  • Help to prioritize within the Global Tech & Engineering department (projects, long-term initiatives) and to contribute the Global Tech & Engineering vision/mission

  • Having prior experience in Hydrogen, CO2, and Ammonia will be advantage

Xycle secures funding for recycling plant.

Xycle has secured funding from investors including Dow, ING, Invest-NL, Vopak, and Polestar Capital to build its first commercial-scale chemical recycling plant in Rotterdam. The facility will process 21,000 metric tons of plastic waste annually, converting it into pyrolysis oil for new plastic production. The plant is expected to be operational by Q4 2026, with plans to expand globally. The funding amount was not disclosed.
