Summary & Scope
The Distribution Analyst will support the Club Monaco Stores business inclusive of the US, Canada, and UK stores through allocating and replenishing merchandise from various Distribution Centers to stores for assigned product categories. This person is responsible for executing the strategic initiatives within their division; while analyzing, identifying, and communicating sales opportunities and providing risk-mitigating recommendations. This role also supports optimum inventory levels to maximize sales and margins, inventory turn and sell-through, overall productivity and profitability. Maximizing opportunities through limited out of stocks in key programs for all channels and distribution centers with a forward look in size balancing. Reporting to the Director of Allocation, this individual will work cross-functionally with Merchandising & Planning, Operations, Warehouse teams, and Visual & Field leads to execute allocation strategies.

Allocation & Inventory Management Responsibilities
- Participate in weekly business reviews; run and analyze weekly store performance/inventory levels, develop insights that translate into strategies to drive sales and inventory productivity
- Collaborate with Merchandising and Planning on preseason and in season plans to align on inventory deployment strategies, accounting for constraints and inputs, such as inventory levels by store group, product capsules, testing strategies, timing of product delivery, minimum presentation, and distribution of sizes to support merchandise sales plans
- Execute monthly allocation strategy meetings for initial inventory releases for assigned product category across all countries; ensure consistent and profitable in-season replenishment on a weekly basis
- Monitor core style selling trends, ensure limited out of stocks for all channels and distribution centers and partner with merchandising and planning to determine re-order quantities at the size level.
- Support inventory management between retail, ecommerce and wholesale channels
- Recommend and manage cross channel transfer proposals and communication
- Ensure timely and accurate execution in support of New Store Openings
- Develop thorough knowledge of regional, district and store level performance through data analysis and field partnership
- Visits stores to review presentation, stock content/levels; identifies issues and solicits suggestions and comments from field team
- Work with Operations and Production partners as wella s the DC to resolve external constraints that impact inventory flow to distribution centers and stores
- Active role partnering with allocation peers and management in creating, updating, enhancing tools and processes that supports financial integrity and allows for flexibility and innovation
- Actively listen and initiate conversations with cross functional partners and leadership regarding potential risk or opportunities and suggest changes to course of action for both current and future quarters
Requirements
- Bachelors degree required
- 1-2 years of allocation or related field experience (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to manage, interpret and report on financial metrics such as inventory turns, forecast and inventory purchase plan reconciliation, life cycle management and style productivity
- A hands-on problem solver with a willingness to work in the details and find opportunities to change processes to drive efficiency
- Ability to synthesize business performance into key highlights, root cause analysis and action plans
- Proven ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships and influence others
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple work streams/projects with tight timelines
- Works well with ambiguity
- Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail
- Computer proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Outlook, Word as well as the ability to quickly master new applications and systems
- Experience with JDA, D365, Power BI (preferred)
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Club Monaco includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This accounts for the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.
A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $60,000 per year to $65,000 per year.
